Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps

2010

Starring: Shia LaBeouf, Michael Douglas and Carey Mulligan

I decided to watch Wall Street 2 even though I hadn’t seen the first one. Turns out, I didn’t need to see the first one.

Power, money, greed, love… you’ve got it all in this movie.

With the market crashing and you losing your job, what do you do? You side with an disgraced Wall street trader ex-con, of course. And then plot to take down a ruthless finance executive.

This was a great movie to watch. Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf have some pretty good on screen chemistry. I hope to see them in more movies together.

Michael Douglas, as always, played an excellent ex-Wall street executive. He has a flare for playing uppity rich jackasses. When you have a gift, you have a gift.

Shia LaBeouf was excellent as well. I like Shia, he always does well in his parts. He has  a lot of potential.
