I hadn’t planned on ever watching Bridesmaids but when given the choice of this or Zoo Keeper, I chose the lesser of the two evils.

The bride-to-be, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), has picked her best friend Annie (Kristen Wiig) to be her maid of honor.

Annie, who’s own life is a mess, does whatever she can to make everything perfect for her best friend. Only she ends up with perfects opposite side… disaster.

Bridesmaids is not your average ‘chic flick’. These girls aren’t dainty little tea drinkers, these are everyday beer drinking women. And they are all brought together for one thing, their friends wedding.

Unlike what you see with most girl movies, these are real women, and real women do some unspeakable things. We’re talkin’ potty humor here people. Ya, you heard me. It’s not just guys that can do it and be funny. I laughed so hard and almost choked.

Oh, and I won’t be comparing Bridesmaids to The Hangover. Why? Because Bridesmaids wasn’t produced to be compared to The Hangover. Ya’ll need to be gettin’ over yourselves you keep that crap up.

I give Bridesmaids two thumbs up. YAY! for real women!!
